AMON AMARTH performed on Sunday, April 17th at the SOLD OUT Summit Music Hall in downtown Denver to promote their newest album Surtur Rising.
(Check HERE for my review of the album and you may also like the gig review from that night)
It was a "rock 'n roll" kinda day because everything was running late, but their US Tour Manager Cash did an amazing job and kept things flowing. After the band finished their sound check (1 hour before doors!) all the musicians (except Johan H.) got handed off to the press journalists. Looked like a flock of seagulls when they were told, you go here, you go there. LOL
Thanks to Liz Ciavarella-Brenner from Earsplit PR for setting up the interview; we requested Olavi and had first dips on him. Space was limited so I decided to go out to the venue and use the stage as a backdrop for the interview, which worked out really good.
Fellow blogger SUPERSKUM again recorded the interview and also is uploading some live clips of the show. Make sure you check out his site!
